The Women in Macroeconomics Conference brings together influential economists from around the world working in the field of macroeconomics. The conference gathers influential macro-economists working in macro, broadly defined, including but not limited to growth, business cycles, macro theory, macro finance, international economics, macro labor, macro development. It also provides participants a venue to strengthen their research and build their network, particularly early-stage scholars.

Broadening Excellence in Economics (BEE) is an initiative of the Research Division at Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis in partnership with the University of Minnesota to broaden opportunities for undergraduate students to access training and advanced research in economics. It encompasses a new series of intermediate-level courses at the U of M, Economics at Work, as well as a practical Research Training Program at the Minneapolis Fed.
